LACOLAS DONATES TO MAMOBI GENERAL HOSPITAL

The Lands Commission Ladies Association, (LACOLAS), has donated hampers containing baby and mother items as a way of honouring and appreciating mothers today, May 14, 2023, at the Maternity ward of the Mamobi General Hospital.

Presenting the hampers to the hospital, Dr Mrs Theodora Mends, President of the Association, remarked that, as Mother’s Day is being celebrated globally, the Association decided to put smiles on the faces of mothers who just gave birth and to share in their joy.

“Mother’s Day is a special day dedicated to honouring and appreciating mothers and mother figures for their love, care, and sacrifices”, she added.

Madam Jacqueline Tetteh-Anshong, Senior Administrator of the Hospital, receiving the hampers on behalf of Management, lauded  LACOLAS for their kind gesture and used the opportunity to call on other corporate institutions and individuals to emulate this act and indicated that this donation would go a long way to help the mothers.

Items distributed included diapers, washing powder, baby wipes, baby oil, sleeping & body suit for babies, baby soaps, powder, detergents and sanitary pads.

Present at the short ceremony were Mr Timothy Anyidoho (RLO), Hajia Zenabu Salifu( vice president of LACOLAS), Ms Mawunyo Asuo(secretary of LACOLAS), and some members of the Association.
