NATIONAL LANDS COMMISSION BOARD INSPECTS TEMA DISTRICT OFFICE CONSTRUCTION

Members of the Finance Committee of the National Lands Commission Board visited the ongoing construction site of the Tema District office in Community One on Monday, 26th August 2024. The purpose of the inspection was to assess the progress of the project and ensure that it meets the expected standards.

The inspection was led by Mr. I. K. Amankwah, Chairman of the Finance Committee and Bono Regional Lands Commission Chairman. The team met with the site consultant, Mr. Michael Dwomoh of OWA Consult, who provided a detailed briefing on the project’s current status. During the visit, the team observed the ongoing work on the building’s infrastructure, electrical and plumbing systems, and interior design elements.

“We are pleased with the significant progress made so far, particularly the inclusion of a basement, which will serve as a dedicated storage space for records,” said the Deputy Executive Secretary in charge of Corporate Services, Surv. Jones Ofori-Boadu.

The project reflects Management’s commitment to creating a conducive working environment for staff and marks a significant step towards infrastructural development. The board members expressed confidence that the new space will enhance productivity, collaboration, and innovation among employees.

The team also included other members of the National Lands Commission, such as Dr. Isaac Sagoe, Chairman of the Western Regional Lands Commission, Mr. Kwame Kwaasi Danso, Chairman of the Central Regional Lands Commission, as well as management members and staff from the Lands Commission.
